Kickshatter Level Designer: Current Props and 21 Editable Drafts

2026-09-08

The Kickshatter Level Designer now uses the current Unity props and metre-based placement data. Its 21 presets are three cups of seven authored layouts. They are design drafts: the editor checks geometry, while route solvability and difficulty still require gameplay testing.

The current artwork library contains 95 source files, including ten existing item demonstration videos. This update adds 52 current source files and preserves two additional historical sources. The remaining current files already existed in the public library. It does not claim that those ten clips were newly recorded.

The current prop set

FamilyAvailable artwork and placement rules
CratesWood, open glass bottle crates, Steel damage states, and fireworks boxes. Compatible stacks can have up to three layers.
DefendersFour Planter Guard damage states and two-health Dummy artwork for lateral and longitudinal movement. These props do not stack.
Stone and groundThe weathered pillar and its two child fragments, water, and a one-use directional wind pad.
Menus and equipmentCurrent menu backgrounds, six player cards, four skill balls, trophies, and existing item demos.

The painted courtyard goal is included. The match player remains a 3D prefab; historical player sprite banks are not substituted for it.

Editing without losing the draft

The editor preserves numeric level IDs, cup metadata, route notes, and precise coordinates during import and export. Objects between sampling points can be selected and moved. Pillar children have explicit landing coordinates, and moving the parent offsets its children together. Wind directions, Dummy movement, and stack layers can be edited directly.

Export checks footprints, overlaps, moving paths, child landings, health rules, and legal stacks. A six-ball budget is fixed; an author's planned shot count is not a measured completion rate. Legacy grids remain readable and exportable without guessing new meanings for Keeper, Crest, or Bumper tokens.

Previous images and videos are preserved in the dated archive. Existing public source URLs remain readable, and the current gallery has a separate selection of current bindings.
