Kickshatter Home Goalkeeper V1: A Human Save-Ready Cue
The Kickshatter Home lobby now uses the approved HomeReadyV1 human goalkeeper in the center of the goal. His crouched, hands-forward pose gives the penalty-kick scene a clear defensive opponent without changing the existing match keeper.
What changed
- Added the catalogued 640 × 640 transparent PNG at
Characters/Keeper/HomeReadyV1/. - Replaced only the Home lobby's static pressure cue. The existing
KeeperV5defender, its two-hit states, and its Match interaction logic remain unchanged. - Imported the new artwork as a UI Sprite with transparent edges, clamp wrapping, and no mipmaps so the small in-goal rendering stays clean.
Why this direction
Home is the moment before a penalty kick. A human goalkeeper looking directly toward the incoming shot gives that moment more pressure and matches the illustrated footballer already standing over the ball. It also keeps the lobby readable: the goalkeeper is a visual cue, not a second player control or a Match-rule change.
Verification and source
The source was checked in a local iPhone 14 Plus simulator build on 2026-08-27. The verified image sits centrally inside the Home goal with no downscale ghosting. Browse the asset-library entry or inspect the original PNG.
