Kickshatter: Street Friends and a New App Icon

2026-09-24

Kickshatter’s selected startup and home artwork now shows the young footballer playing with friends. The startup scene celebrates his goal; the home scene returns to the game, with friends chasing the ball across a tidy neighborhood court.

The brown-haired footballer raises his fists as friends run over to celebrate

The illustrations keep the brown hair and blue, white, and orange kit used to identify the protagonist. His face, anatomy, and gestures are drawn for the scene. The match model supplies an identity reference; its geometry is unchanged.

Open sky and quiet foreground paving leave space for the game’s logo and menu. These source paintings contain no buttons or menu text: Unity supplies the interface. The characters are still illustrations, with the transition and ambient effects handled by the game.

The hand-drawn protagonist kicks a large football through a wooden crate

The new app icon brings that same character close to the viewer. A large football and broken wood connect him to the game’s kicking and destruction mechanics. The 1024 × 1024 original is an opaque square without text or baked-in rounded corners. Its face and ball were checked in 120- and 60-pixel previews.

All three images were created with built-in image generation and selected for the game. Original PNGs are linked from the images above; earlier published artwork remains available in the Kickshatter artwork library.
